An open, technology-sharing program expands access to real-time data
Yield-Link is a joint development program sponsored by Pintail that enables third party developers to innovate their own applications that use real-time data provided by the SwifTest monitoring system. If developers require modifications to SwifTest in order to accomplish specific adaptive test capabilities, the resulting on-tester implementation is referred to as SwifTest-YL.

SwifTest-YL is generally available on any ATE platform already supported by Pintail. Because of Pintail’s track record of proven production, third-party developers can implement adaptive test and yield learning solutions from their own test floors or for installation in most of the leading test services. Developers can participate in the SwifTest-YL program under a license agreement that includes resale and redistribution rights.
With SwifTest-YL, developers have an effective way to enrich existing in-house data management systems with real-time capabilities. Proprietary test operations management and OEE systems can also be enhanced to support real-time capabilities.
In addition, SwifTest-YL enables test data to be linked into advanced design and diagnostic tools that can be provided by EDA vendors of yield improvement specialists.
