Pintail offers two powerful analysis tools that enable test and product engineers to determine the optimum test plan off-line — before committing to on-line production using Pintails’ SwifTest products.
TestVision® provides test engineers with an affordable, PC-based, easy to use capability to view and analyze historical test data, identify root causes or problems and rapidly propose solutions. Features include the ability to —
- Quickly import test data from multiple test platforms.
- Conduct characterization and correlation studies.
- Rapidly drill down to discover the root cause of test issues using unique graphical capabilities.
- Create summary charts and reports that can improve collaborative problem resolution.
The tool also serves an important role in the analysis of benefits that users gain when deploying SwifTest-TTO or SwifTest-FOX to production. There are powerful simulators for both sampling and parts average testing (PAT) that guide the user to rapid deployment of these applications.
Working closely with TestVision® is reduTec™. In April 2006, Pintail entered an exclusive worldwide marketing and development agreement with optimiSE GmbH in Karlsruhe, Germany, to integrate their off-line product reduTec™ with the Pintail suite. With reduTec, users will discover the limits of test time reduction possible within predefined quality standards described in terms of allowable defective parts per million (DPPM). Accordingly, reduTec extends the ability of TestVision to further reduce test time while assuring maximum quality using sophisticated redundancy and correlation techniques.
